The Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) course explores the risk factors associated with SIDS and provides caregivers with information to improve the health and safety of infants and reduce the risk of SIDS. The goal of this course is to help caregivers reduce the number of SIDS deaths through consistent implementation of risk reduction strategies, and to increase awareness of SIDS in the community. This course is designed for day care workers, parents, grandparents, babysitters and other individuals who provide care to infants. | |

This course provides training for caregivers on the signs, the effects and the reasons for child abuse and neglect, as well as ways to help children who have been victims. Caregivers require a thorough working knowledge of how and why child abuse and neglect happens in order to help and protect the children in their care and to make appropriate decisions for them and their families. | |
