Shaken Baby Syndrome Prevention Training
The goal if this course is to provide daycare providers with the training necessary to effectively understand Shaken Baby Syndrome and more importantly to learn how to prevent it's occurrence. Additionally the course will provide students with the knowledge necessary to recognize when Shaken Baby Syndrome has occurred and how to deal with it. Lastly, this course provides reference documentation to reinforce the concepts learned that the student can print and keep.
This online course was designed using the state required Shaken Baby Syndrome Prevention curriculum & resources and effective 9/7/2007 is approved by the DHFS for use as an interim training for new hires when a group in-person training option is not available. A Shaken Baby Syndrome Prevention group in-person training must be completed within 6 months after beginning work as required by the WI-DHFS. This course is also a great way for "new" parents as well as "experienced" parents to learn about Shaken Baby Syndrome Prevention and can be used as a refresher or for inservice purposes for all Caregivers. | |
